Paint Party - Happy 5th Birthday

HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY

Another year older and this year you wanted to have a Paint party! So what does one do at a paint party? Thanks to Pinterest, we had a plan.

We went to Hobby Looby and bought a bunch of canvases and tempera paint. Everyone had a blast painting their canvases.

Four Generations and still having fun!

Before your party, you were such a huge help with making goddies for your treat table.

What a cute idea we borrowed from someone - Chocolate dipped rice crispies to make paint brushes.

Everyone at the party got in to the painting - from the age of 2 to 20, the creativity was flowing.

Halloween 2011

Halloween has become a tradition at our house. Your Dad gets out his fire pit and we all sit in the front yard waiting on trick-or-treaters to come along.
Mamaw and Papaw even get in to things!

4th Birthday at Disney World

HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY!

This year for your 4th birthday, we went to Disney World. Your Dad, me, you and Mamaw drove to Orlando to celebrate at the Magic Kingdom.

ANIMAL KINGDOM

On the first day, we went to Animal Kingdom and you had a blast. I think you had your picture made with every character that was there.

(Not that this was a character... well maybe!)

First you hung out with Lilo and Stitch

Turk

Meeko

You loved Minnie Mouse (but who doesn't). You got to see Mickey and Minnie during a parade, so there wasn't anyone else there waiting, so you and Minnie took off and walked around.

Love Thumper!

Your Dad no more got the car out of our parking row (not even the parking lot) and this was you.

Magic Kingdom

The day of your 4th Birthday, we went to Magic Kingdom. You couldn't believe how every there knew it was your birthday as they all wished you a Great Birthday! You had forgotten about the button on your shirt! LOL

After we rode one of the rides, you said you liked but didn't want to ride it again until you were 16. So while your Dad rode it over-and-over, you sat in the stroller and ate a whole Turkey leg.

Chattanooga Lookouts game

We took Lauren to the Chattanooga Lookouts ball game. She was excited to get to go see Looie.

Lauren got her glasses, so she is now ready for the game.

What a perfect evening for a game, the weather was perfect.

From the time we walked in the park, Lauren was looking for Looie. We finally tracked him down.
Lauren got a little upset when Looie went inside.

Of course we had to eat everything in the park. Even though Lauren said she wasn't hungry, she ate a hot dog, peanuts, a cherry slushy and a pretzel.

A blast from the past, Denny and Allen.

"It's dark outside Mom, time to go home."

Lauren's 3rd Birthday Party

HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY PRINCESS LAUREN

I can not believe our precious angel is 3 years old.

So for her birthday, we had a Princess Party. Lauren was so excited and helped us get ready for the party. She invited her friends and they all dressed up as Princesses - they were so cute!

In addition to her birthday cake, we created a sweets table - the kids loved it - I think we all loved it!

Every Princess needs a castle! It's even better when you can eat it.

The girls were so excited about getting dressed up for the party.
Aubrey, Gabi, Tori and Lauren were ready for a big day.
Now, getting them all to look at a camera and smile at the same time was another story.

Aubrey and Lauren act like sisters - they are loving here and the next minute - you never know!

My precious angel!

We wish he could really mow the lawn but Chase, Lauren's cousin, loves to push his lawn mower around. Until Lauren made him pause for a picture.

Smile Chasey!

Lauren's Aunt Stacey brought a sure party pleaser - Silly String!
Lauren loved it, the kids were all lining up for there turn. The best part, after both cans were empty, they picked it all up to press it together to make a ball.

All of the Princesses looked so cute! They played the part and enjoyed themselves.

If I had know that a couple of bags of ice would entertain the Princesses, I would just have bought a bunch of ice. Kids do not need tons of stuff to find the true joys in life.
